Now available for Nokia, Android, iOS and Blackberry handsets, the official Super League app from the Rugby Football League also features video match highlights, news, results, fixtures, league tables, club profiles and player profiles.
Incremental updates for the new season include adding the league table to the home page and a new bottom menu bar with direct access to the most used pages.
Matthew Trumble, digital media unit manager, Rugby Football League commented: "One of our long-term aims is to increase awareness of the Engage Super League by 25% by 2013. Expanding and refining our mobile media platforms to reach rugby league fans around the world are a key part of the strategy in helping us achieve this ambitious goal."
